Since 2017, Bill has represented a large section of The Blue Hills including 'Big Blue' and many of the institutions that call the State Park home.
Since 2017 Bill has secured annual earmarks in the State budget process and other opportunities totaling:
$4.65M for the operation of Mass Audubon's Blue Hills Trailside Museum
More than $1M for operation of The Blue Hills Observatory and Science Center

Additionally Bill has voted on and passed bonding authorizations for projects in the Blue Hills, some of which have led to the completion of vital projects in the Blue Hills including:
The resurfacing of Summit Road on Big Blue
The restoration of Eliot Tower and The Observatory Tower
The construction of a multi-million dollar new otter habitat at The Trailside museum
Still in the works, ending in conference committee:
a bonding authorization for an accessible trail at Houghton's Pond
a bonding authorization for additional restoration work the Blue Hills Observatory
Trail and Pedestrian Safety
Bill has worked with DCR and MassDOT over the years to have multiple sets of trail crossing signs added and updated for safer crossings on Route 138, Route 28 and Hillside St. respectively. He has filed legislation to increase the installation of safer, lighted-signs for crossings on State roads in all State Parks.
