Results for Bridgewater in first term as the State Senator for Bridgewater
Dear Friend,
I have been a committed public servant my entire career. With your support I will be re-elected to the State Senate on September 1st in the Democratic Primary.
Since 2025, I have had the honor of serving full-time as State Senator for Bridgewater and six other towns. Before that, from 2017-24, I was a State Representative for Milton & Randolph. I’ve been working with colleagues in all levels of government, especially Representative Dennis Gallagher, on issues important to you and our neighbors.
Together, we have been able to accomplish a great deal for our community. I have never missed a vote and I go to work everyday to deliver for Bridgewater.
Below contains details regarding what we’ve secured during my first term in partnership with Representative Gallagher.
WATER CRISIS RELATED
Successfully and continually advocating on behalf of the town with MassDEP and the Healey Administration to first declare and later extend the 'water supply emergency declaration' needed to access various state funding and supports.
$250,000 toward the installation of a new water filtration system and other capital improvements at Edward J. O'Donoghue middle school.
$2M secured from Mass DEP for costs associated with PFAS and manganese mitigation as well as bringing more municipal water supply wells online.
I am pushing the Healey Administration to release additional funds, on top of the $2M MassDEP funds secured, to help the town with costs RE: the ongoing water emergency.
$1.5M in bonding authorizations for water and sewer improvements via the Environmental Bond Bill (still pending in conference committee)
SCHOOLS
$70,000 secured for school building capital improvement projects in the town and in the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District.
$20,000 toward capital improvement projects in the Bridgewater-Raynham regional school district
$50,000 toward security, technology and lighting improvements for the Bridgewater Raynham Regional School District
Since 2021 I’ve voted to fund universal, free school meals for all kids in public schools.
COMMUNITY
$60,000 toward the Pavilion at Bridgewater Town River Landing

A major milestone in the ongoing revitalization of Town River Landing: a weather-resilient, accessible pavilion is set to be completed in 2026-2027. This structure will host community events, classes, and public programming year-round. Alongside the pavilion, green spaces will be expanded and sustainable solar lighting will be installed, creating an environmentally responsible community hub.
